Selecting a display layer

The diagram below shows how the four layers are displayed from front to back on the canvas on top of the backdrop.

Most objects can be added to either the Background, Foreground or Watermark layer while design filters are restricted to their corresponding layer. Within each layer, images and shapes are displayed behind captions and icons.
